At Bridge Street Plaza last Thursday, the first Levitt AMP Waco Music Series concert of the spring offered a small but telling portrait: a tiny chihuahua in a pink harness settled into the grass as if it understood something the rest of us were still figuring out—this was not simply a show to pass through, but a place to remain. As dusk moved across East Waco, KANSO the Poet, Einstein the Mastermind, Cade Lane, and Ryan the Son turned the plaza into something larger than its footprint.
