Live theater is back with a vengeance in Waco with multiple productions across town in February, including How I Got Over at Waco Civic Theatre, A Decadent Death at Brazos Theatre Company, and Silent House Theatre Co.’s production of Heathers: The Musical.

For a time in the late ‘80s to the mid-‘90s, Lyle Lovett was a quirky yet ubiquitous cultural presence: He was married to Julia Roberts, appeared in offbeat indie movies, and released a string of well-received country albums. His profile has been lower in recent years, but his music is as strong as ever. Hear it for yourself when Lyle Lovett and His Acoustic Group play the Waco Hippodrome Theatre on Saturday night.
