Waco’s Dr Pepper Museum is home to all things past and present about the popular soft drink, but you may not know it’s also a hotbed of ghostly activities. On select nights, visitors who are 18 and over can sign up for the Dr Pepper Paranormal Experience.
During the two-hour tour, expert museum guides lead you through both historic buildings, including the otherwise off-limits basement, and let you investigate paranormal activity with tools such as EMF readers. And maybe you’ll also experience the floating orbs, shadow figures, voices, and apparitions reported by others.
Groups are limited to 16 people, and tours like the one this Saturday night sell out quickly… but you’ve still got three opportunities in February, so reserve your spot now!
St. Alban’s Sacred Arts Series continues on Sunday afternoon at 4 pm as the internationally acclaimed Baylor Brass plays a program featuring sacred and secular works. Consisting of Baylor University brass faculty, the group performs regularly on the Baylor campus, in public schools across Texas, and at major music schools worldwide. Plus, admission is free.
Next Wednesday night brings Ozomatli to The Pavilion at the Carleen Bright Arboretum to kick off this year’s Waco Family & Faith International Film Festival. The Grammy-winning band, based in Los Angeles, combines an infectious mix of salsa and hip hop, funk and samba, New Orleans second line and East LA R&B, and a whole lot more. Seating is limited, however, so get your tickets now.
Listen to more music by Ozomatli on Spotify.
