If you haven’t seen The Aktins Tent Revival since founder Ben Atkins returned from his long sojourn in South America, you’re missing out. His latest incarnation of the band — a mix of everything from rock to soul to blues and even some ukulele — has been putting on show-stopping performances around Waco for the past year. Your next chance to see them play is Friday night at Blonde Mink to celebrate the release of “No Money,” the band’s latest single.
What’s better than the once-a-month Eastside Market at Brotherwell Brewing? How about twice a month? The market kicks off its new schedule — the first and third Sunday each month — on April 3. Get there as fast as you can on Sunday afternoon to soak up that Eastside vibe.
Startup Waco’s annual Startup Week runs from April 5–7 with a variety of events in downtown Waco and the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. Mix with local entrepreneurs, attend business seminars, and attend a luncheon catered by Waffle Chic. Register now for free.
