Fabled Bookshop & Cafe is celebrating Hobbit Day this week, and the party continues on Friday with Pint Night at the Green Dragon. Come by the store to enjoy locally brewed craft beer from Balcones Distilling and Brotherwell Brewing. And you can even take a selfie with the wise guy in the picture above!
On Saturday, Oktoberfest at Barnett’s Public House brings the Battle of the Breweries as Balcones, Brotherwell, Southern Roots, and Waco Ale Co. face off. Plus, you can enjoy plenty of music, food, and games. And if you want to hear some live jazz, your best bet is the end-of-the-month Central Texas Jazz Society’s Jazz Jam next Wednesday at Stay Classy Waco.
