Texas Elvis Weekend, HOT Fair & Rodeo, and Sancho Rancho Pumpkin Patch

As Mojo Nixon taught us, Elvis is everywhere, and that’s especially true on Thursday when Texas Elvis Weekend takes over the Waco Convention Center. Six different stage productions pay tribute to the legacy of Elvis and feature favorite performers such as Bill Cherry, Vic Trevino, Moses Snow, Al Joslin, Donny Edwards, and others.

The Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo kicks off on Thursday night and continues through Sunday, October 15. As always, there’s plenty of rodeo action, carnival rides, and food delicacies such as deep-fried Snickers candy bars.

Headlining musical acts include Trace Adkins and Randall King while the wine bar and beer garden features local musicians each night such as Eric & Thomas Unplugged, Clinton Bon Slaughter, Joel Wood, and many others. Plus, there’s a 5K race this Saturday morning and a charity golf tournament on Monday afternoon.

With Halloween fast approaching, the 3rd Annual Sancho Rancho Pumpkin Patch begins this weekend and continues each Saturday and Sunday through the end of October. This fun family event is bigger and better than ever, with games, food trucks, and vendors. And you can also enjoy activities such as bounce houses, horse and hay rides, a petting zoo, and more.

Admission is $20 per car.
