Guys and Dolls, 2025 Waco Block Party, and the Waco Downtown Farmers Market

A world of gamblers, showgirls, and schemers comes to life when McLennan Theatre rolls the dice on Guys and Dolls, a musical that swings harder than a loaded craps table. From February 27 through March 1, MCC’s Ball Performing Arts Center transforms into a neon-lit dream of wise guys and hopeless romantics, packed with songs that made Broadway history and dialogue sharper than a hustler’s grin.

Dress to the nines and grab a seat—this show’s bursting with charm, chaos, and the kind of high-stakes romance that makes real life look like a sucker’s bet.

The Waco Block Party isn’t an event—it’s a three-day gauntlet of music, energy, and revelry that dares you to keep up.

Friday kicks things off at Southern Roots Brewing Co. with an all-request piano night, where the beer flows, the songs never stop, and you’re one Billy Joel request away from becoming best friends with a total stranger. Saturday throws it all into overdrive with a battle of the bands, a car show, vendors, food trucks, and more live music than your ears can handle—all while supporting The Cove Foundation.

By Sunday, the dust settles at the First Annual Texas Creator Awards at the Waco Hippodrome, where the state’s best podcasters, YouTubers, and digital creatives get the spotlight they deserve, proving that Texas isn’t just big—it’s full of people who make big things happen.

The Waco Downtown Farmers Market has a new home, and it’s got more room, more vendors, and more ways to make your Saturday morning even better. Bridge Street Plaza in East Waco is now the place to grab your fresh produce, sip coffee, and watch kids burn off energy while you pretend you know how to pick the best tomatoes.

To get things started this weekend, they’re throwing in mosquito awareness info, yoga, and a visit from the folks at Cameron Park Zoo because why settle for a grocery run when you can turn it into an adventure?
